CONNECT are a trainee-led research group based in the North of England.

Our aim is to conduct high quality, trainee-led, multi-centre research in the field of child oral health for the benefit of patients and families.

Further to providing trainees with research experience, and the opportunity to learn from their peers, CONNECT can help those undertaking a research project as part of a Masters degree to further develop their projects and gain data from multiple centres. CONNECT will also seek funding for projects of its own, giving trainees experience in applying for grants.

We hope to involve trainees from Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester and associated community posts. Whilst the group is primarily aimed at those with an NTN number, we are keen to include anyone who would like to gain more experience in child oral health research, from any specialty!
